Saturday Camp for Children with ADHD 6-12 years old

 

Scool Aged 6-12 Programs

Next Camp: T.B.A.

When: T.B.A.

Where: T.B.A.

Time: Saturdays 9:00 AM to noon.

For Whom: Children with ADHD and their siblings aged 6-12 years old (Does not have to be diagnosed).

Program includes:

  • Crafts
  • Drama
  • Indivuidual play time
  • Jigger Bug
  • Social playtime
  • Stress Lessons
  • Tai Chi

Cost:

    • T.B.A. for Excalibur Family-members
    • T.B.A. for all others

Minimum registration is four (4) and maximum is eigth (8) children for the Camps to run.

Dartmouth Camp T.B.A.

Preregistration required before Tuesday T.B.A.(Last day for refund).

Registration completed, when Camp application is forwarded and fees are paid, must be on or before Tuesday April 7, 2015

Sackville Camp T.B.A.

Coach: Maya Warnock

Maya has worked with children with ADHD for several years. She ran the Excalibur After School Program for five years. She is educated in child development and child psychology (@ M.S.V.U.) and school-aged care (St. Laurence College, Ontario). She is a facilitator for Family School POP courses and several Support Groups. She wrote the books for the POP programs. Dr. Sam Goldstein, a world-renowned expert in ADHD, read them and wrote the forward to them.  She is the coach for Working Memory Training. She wrote the captions for the Colouring Book for Kids with ADHD, their Siblings and Friends.  Other training includes: Simply ADHD (an ADHD Coaching course), First Aid for Mental Health for Adults Working with Youth and several courses in Working Memory training plus Plan to Protect (a child abuse prevention program). She is cleared by Child Abuse Registry & Police Department with Vulnerable Sector check.

 

Assistant Coach: Stephen Warnock

Stephen has worked with children with ADHD since 2002. He is trained in Family School POP (3-6), Plan to Protect (a child abuse prevention course), Std. First Aid with CPR-C and Mental Health First Aid for Adults working with Youth. He is trained in Working Memory training and he is the Assistant Coach for that program. He is the Assistant Child-Minder for the Sackville Parent Support Group. He was the Assistant Child-minder for the Dartmouth Support Group for Parents of Children with ADHD. He is cleared by Child Abuse Registry & Police Department with Vulnerable Sector check.
